Christopher Davidson – Co – Managing Director
Chris was born on a family pastoral holding in northern NSW, spending 30 years hands-on in agribusiness commodity production.
Retiring from farming, he subsequently took up a professional career with international agribusiness group, Elders Limited. Chris spent 6 years with Elders Limited in a number of senior roles including manager rural real estate, mergers and acquisitions, key account management and project development.
In 1998 Chris joined Visy Industries, a large privately owned global packaging company. His primary role was in designing and incorporating a wastewater recovery re-use system as part of Visy’s AU$450m kraft pulp and paper mill, a greenfield investment in southern NSW.
Visy’s Chairman was very active in the national water debate. He commissioned 4 of his project team in 2003 (including Chris) to scope up a ‘water initiative study’ for the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area (MIA) with participation from state and federal Governments ($5.3m).
The terms of reference were narrowed to five key objectives including efficiencies and inefficiencies in the Murrumbidgee river system of NSW.
Chris has spent the last 10 years working on renewable energy projects and refining anaerobic technologies. Including an invitation to advise the Chengdu government on anaerobic biodigester for pig waste treatment. Also, Chris spent considerable time in Sarawak, Malaysia working on palm oil mill effluent processing plant (POME).
Nicholas K Lee – Co – Managing Director
Mr. Lee is a qualified Accountant having spent many years working in the Industry. He later joined Investment Bankers Standard Chartered in Melbourne Australia involving himself mainly in M&A and Corporate Finance activities.
In 1989 he joined Stock Broker Burdett Buckeridge and Young as Institutional Advisor specializing in derivatives and derivative products. Mr. Lee’s developed expertise in M&A, corporate funding and derivatives later took him to Asia where he involved himself in similar roles until 1998.
Mr. Lee returned to Australia and founded Bellwether Partners Ltd, a successful Funds Management company with business partners from previous associations. In 2014 Mr. Lee was appointed Finance Director of Terragen Biotech Pty Ltd, an Australian agricultural bio-technology company. Mr. Lee will be winding down his role at Terragen to take on a full time challenge at Enel Capital.
